<description>Sorry the whole experience was so frustrating Daisy! As I look back on this class, I must say the most difficult part for students has been the account-creation process, and I we often have trouble with this in face-to-face classes as well. In face-to-face classes now, I usually have students create accounts ahead of time because I once wasted an entire hour in an IM class trying to get accounts set up and confirmed.

There was a time when you could create accounts for different services without the requirement of clicking on a link in a confirmation e-mail. But, since Spammers often created accounts with phony e-mails and e-mail servers have tightened restrictions on what could go through, it has become much more difficult than it should be to register for any of these services.

I hope you find the Facebook experience worth the wait. :-)
